Session packs suit an episode of care. Memberships suit the patients who should keep coming: knee-OA, chronic back pain, seniors in a balance class, athletes in season. Instalment plans make a 20-session neuro-rehab block affordable. All three sit in the same wallet and draw down automatically.

Three ways to package care
Session packs
"10 sessions in 60 days" with balance on every appointment, expiry and low-balance nudges, family sharing and optional AutoPay renewal.
Memberships
For example "Knee care monthly: ₹2,499 for 4 sessions and 4 group classes, 10 % off extra sessions". Usage resets each period.
Payment plans
Split an open bill into 2–12 monthly instalments; reminders go two days before each due date and payments apply to the invoice.
What happens at the desk
Session completed
A pack session is used first, then an included membership session, otherwise the visit is invoiced with the member discount.
Class attended
Included classes count against the membership; non-members are billed the class fee.
Period ends
With auto-renew on, a new period starts with an invoice, paid by UPI AutoPay when the patient has an active mandate. Without it, the membership lapses.

Honest notes on UPI AutoPay and GST
UPI AutoPay runs through your own payment provider. Until your provider's credentials are connected it works in sandbox mode, which shows the full flow but moves no money. The patient approves a mandate with a maximum amount in their UPI app and can pause or cancel it there.
Physiotherapy sessions and memberships for treatment by a clinical establishment are generally exempt from GST; set a GST rate on a plan only if your CA advises that it is a taxable supply, for example a fitness-only class.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a pack and a membership?
A pack is a fixed number of sessions with an expiry date, bought once. A membership renews every month, quarter or year, includes a set number of sessions and classes per period and gives a discount on extra sessions.
Which is used first when a session is completed?
An active session pack first, then the membership's included sessions for the current period. If neither covers the visit, an invoice is created at your session fee with the member discount applied.
Can memberships renew automatically?
Yes. At the end of each period a new invoice is created, and if the patient has an active UPI AutoPay mandate the debit is presented through your payment provider (sandbox until connected). A failed debit switches auto-renew off rather than retrying.
Can I split a large bill into instalments?
Yes. Choose an open invoice of ₹1,000 or more, the number of monthly instalments (2 to 12) and the first due date. Patients get a WhatsApp reminder two days before each instalment, and paid instalments are applied to the invoice.
Are memberships included in my plan?
Yes, on every plan. There is no commission on memberships; UPI AutoPay fees are charged by your own payment provider.
